Information we use

We use your email and authentication details to provide an account. Your name, career interests, goals, experience, optional budget and constraints help personalise guidance. Saved learning paths, completion progress, applications, notes, feedback and broken-link reports support your workspace. You supply this information. Public course and vacancy information comes from providers and search services. Guest discovery answers remain on the current page; saving a starter plan requires an account.

Purposes and lawful bases

Account and workspace processing is necessary to provide the service you request. Usage limits, abuse prevention and security logs support our legitimate interests in securing the service and controlling costs. Optional profile information can be left blank. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising in the current application.

Providers and external links

Supabase provides authentication and database storage. Vercel hosts the website. Google Gemini receives the career context and prompts needed for AI guidance. Google search services receive search terms for course and job discovery. Do not put sensitive personal information into prompts or searches. Application notes are stored in your workspace and are not part of learning-path generation. Following a course, employer or web-search link opens a separate service with its own terms and privacy practices.

Contracted processing regions, international-transfer safeguards and backup / infrastructure-log retention periods are awaiting operator confirmation.

Retention and deletion

Account and workspace records remain while your account is active or until you delete them. Account deletion is available in Settings. Deletion failures are shown so you can retry; an unsuccessful deletion does not mean your records were removed. Shared search results may be reused for 24 hours and expired entries are removed during later searches. Older usage records are cleaned during subsequent usage. Provider backup and log retention are described in the provider details above once confirmed.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, subject to the applicable conditions. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where consent applies. Edit your profile or delete your account in Settings. Use the privacy contact above for other requests or if you cannot sign in. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Recommendations and public information

AI suggestions can be inaccurate. Kuriosity does not make employment or eligibility decisions about you. You choose which courses and jobs to pursue. Completing a phase is self-reported progress, not an independently verified qualification. Private workspace data is not published as part of the public career and skill directories.
